Next Window Please
Never in all my years at any job had experienced anything this bizarre. Okay, well I have but not of this nature.
Well, the window next to me was empty, no cashier was there yet and it had the sign up "Next window please" Well, I was helping a fellow employee get her pay check when this lunatic came up and snatched the close sign.
SL (Sucky lunatic): I just need it to show my husband. It's a joke.
And she took off with it!
I'm behind bars... I can't go out there and demand it back. She was a few feet away and I figured she'd bring it back in a few seconds. I ignored it for awhile but when the employee in my window said this: "What if she uses it as a weapon on another customer?" I realized that SL could've been capable of it and I probably shouldn't have been standing by not saying anything.
So, the employee of another department in my window went and told security. Well, SL came back, gave back the sign, left for a bit and came back and stole it again. I'm WTFing.
The employee leaves out of my window and I go in the back and had to explain the weird situation to my supervisor. I get all the weirdos, I swear.
He goes out there and a security guard finally goes over and snatches it back from her. I guess she came back to the cage to "explain" why she took it but I was hiding behind the wall in the cage so she wouldn't see me.
Later, I get back into my window and SL comes back into my window and hisses: Thanks a lot!
I'm pretty sure she was sarcastic when she said it. But what a loon!
