  • Old guy falls in his own poo ( a little gross as you can tell)

I work at a retirement home. On my ward there are around 26 people. But this story isn't about one of them, it's a very weird thing that happended with another old guy. I don't know if he was sucky, well he was, but not deliberately. So I'll post it here if that's ok!

Anyway, my colleague and I were making dinner for the old people in the kitchen when outside the window we see this old man passing by. He stops and goes up a little into the hill and trees. We can still see him quite well and wonder what he's doing.

Then he undoes his trousers and squats down and looks like he's taking a poo, which is in fact what he's doing. So my colleague and I look at eachother and say "gross!!" and look back at the old guy.

Suddenly he falls forward, hitting his head on a tree and looks like he can't get up again. My colleage and I don't know exactly what to do but we run outside anyway to see if we can help him. We weren't sure if he lived in our home or not. And even if he didn't we still would have helped.

So we get out to him and he's bumped his head and there's a little blood but nothing serious. My colleage goes inside to get the nurse and they both come out and we all try to lift the old guy to his feet. We managed but his trousers were still down so my colleage and the nurse pull them up but they're covered in shit and they both get shit all over their hands. We never thought to bring gloves or anything, which we should have done for sure.

But after they wipe themselves off a little my colleague and the nurse check the old guy for injuries while I hold him up (avoiding the shit wherever possible). He wasn't injured but the nurse asked him what he thought he was doing taking a dump in the woods and where does he live anyway?

Turns out he wasn't one of ours but lived nearby and had decided to go and get a yummy kebab and needed number two on the way. Simple as that! So we called a relative of his to come and pick him up and he was sent home.

It was one heck of an adventure though, and we all washed our hands very thouroughly after that I can say!! And it was a bit of luck we even happend to be in the kitchen at that time and see what had happened.

But everything turned out in the end. So I guess that's pretty good!

Just wanted to share!! I have lots of stories from working in a retirement home but I've signed a paper damning me to secrecy. So I have to be very careful. But as this guy wasn't one of ours it's no problem.
It's been a long, long, long, long time...
