i go to work and before i get in i see "missed call"...no message but it says it was from work..hm oh well
i go in and a coworker said the other supervisor thought i was supposed to be in at 2 and kinda freaked out. turns out he was reading todays schedule i go in at 2...thursdays i have school and dont go in til 4, fail!
i go upstairs and look at the new schedule. i requested next fri and sat off...i have plans...i will not miss them.
scheduled off sunday off monday, tuesday 4-9, wednesday 2-9, thursday 4-9, friday 2-9, saturday 1-9...OH NO
i am NOT working fri or sat. especially since last week the manager said "take whatever you need off, you have the vacation hours"
i also requested 3 days the week after that. i left her a note saying i cant work those days and wont be around..simple
i go up to the registers and the cashier says "did they tell you when 'other cashier' gets in im leaving?"
i ask whos covering for her when she leaves....no one.
GREAT me and a cashier....wonderful and NO.. NO ONE TOLD ME. 2nd time this co worker has failed to tell me of someone leaving early.
i called EVERYONE to see if i could get someone to cover. no one...absolutely no one. so it was just me and the other person all night. thankfully it wasnt horrible but still it shouldnt have happened. and i dont even know why the girl left anyways....
so not much work got done. store looks like s*** if i say so myself. there are still stacks of trays in the aisle from TUESDAYS truck...and no one did ANY putbacks during the day....so i did none at night. i had to do the price changes and TRY to face. i faced not even a whole aisle
1)because i dont have time
2) it was a disaster.
no one in that store know how to face....its the easiest thing ever...why cant anyone do it?
i think the DM might visit today...whoops!
