  • Mom supposedly forgot her purse

    This happened yesterday at work

I was sitting inside the visitor parking booth when a car pulled up & parked in front of the booth. A young female walked up to the booth window & asked me where Admissions was & where she can park. I told her Admissions was on the 3rd floor & that visitor parking is $5.00. I also told her she could park at the metered lot across the street which only takes change. She said "so you have to pay for your parking?" I said "yes, it is all pay parking around here."

She walks back to the car, & her mother walks up to the booth window.

Her mom tells me the following
    • I forgot my purse at home
    • I am here to get information for my daughter

    I tell her the following
    • unfortunately there is no free parking anywhere around here *since she stood at the window for a while, I told her that twice*
    • Visitor parking is $5.00
    • If anyone inside their car has change then they can park at the metered lot across the street

She eventually left & parked at the metered lot.

I saw them walk towards the visitor parking booth to get into the main bldg. The mom had a purse with her.

That told me she did not forget her purse at home. She just wanted free parking.

The daughter asked me again where Admissions was. I told her it was on the 3rd floor.

And people wonder why no one is willing to lend a helping hand anymore. Perhaps because a-holes like this take advantage.

May Karma find her and make things...unfortunate. She's the type to get a boot for unpaid parking tickets. I can dream, right?
A lion however, will only devour your corpse, whereas an SC is not sated until they have destroyed your soul. (Quote per infinitemonkies)

Karma should dictate that she really does forget her purse sometime much more inconvenient than that.
