  • A&E's "Parking Wars"

Anyone ever catch this show? In essence its a reality show about people who work for the Parking Authority dealing with SC's (well not necessarily SC's but sucky people)

    link: http://www.aetv.com/parking-wars/index.jsp

Best line I saw watching the show -

SC getting a parking ticket: "You f*ckers have nothing better todo than to write tickets!"
Parking Authority lady: "It's my JOB!"

"This job would be great if it wasn't for the f***** customers." - Randell 'Clerks'

Man, I could probably so relate to this show, since it was me that used to be in charge of towing at the K place.

I always wondered why people would park illegally, then act angry and surprised when the odds were not in their favor and they get busted.

I mean, they KNOW they are parking illegally! Just cowboy up and own it!

I'd love to see they playing a game of cards or something with their family. "DAMMIT! I LOST ANOTHER PENNY!!!! I'LL HAVE YOUR FUCKING JOB, BITCH! THIS PLACE FUCKING SUCKS!" (insert squealing tires and burnt rubber in their own driveway to "teach a lesson" to their ten year old. )

You play odds, sometimes you lose. That's life. Sack up.

Paging Argabarga. Hey, I wonder if he's ever been on that show.

I LOVE this show! Its amazing how people who disregard parking laws think that they are *entitled* to do so and if anybody dares ticket them, they're just running an illegal racket.

I love that show. My favorite part is the scenes at the impound lot where the scofflaws go to ransom their cars. Talk about sucky.
I'm trying to see things from your point of view, but I can't get my head that far up my keister!

I've watched show marathons on A&E. One thing that made me go was, during the segment with the "booters" (whatever they are really called, attaching boots to scofflaws cars), one woman actually drove her car away after they attached the boot!!!! The boot ripped through her wheel well, causing that moron a few THOUSAND in damage rather than pay a few HUNDRED dollars in tickets!!

A friend of mine worked in the Impound Lot, and my ex-Father-In-Law did ticketing and parking patrols. The stuff they had to put up with was incredible-screaming, cursing, trying to break through the glass at the lot, trying to run the xFIL over. Parking Wars is boring to them because they BTDT for waaaaay to long. Go them!

Gah! Sorry about the duplicate thread. I searched 'parking wars' and got no hits.
