Ok i am a weird individual so if you dont want your head to hurt id stop reading now. this a big list of random rants sailor moon has cause to build up in me.
Ok 1. we canceled cable cause we spend more time watching hulu, netflix and the like instead of watching cable. I thought for my birthday i'd look up sailor moon to see if i could get the boy to buy my a set of either the movies or one of the seasons. *head smack* apparently sailor moon went dvd starting in 2003 making it 95% out of print the only thing i could find after 2004 was part of the the super s season that came out 2009 and the movies cause they where released more recently in a dvd combo. and netflix has no idea what sailor moon is. Though i could buy new from the manufacture the VHS....... wait what?
on number 2. my sister did some looking about among her friends and the internet and now ive been watching the original Japanese with sub titles. Yeah! a little different but still good (though i still prefer the America music but thats just cause i was little and it was catchy). But Tuxedo Mask! You fail even worst in the Japanese version! I thought us Americans cut you up and thats why you where a suck hero. No you really just appeared in weird places threw a rose that half the time missed and ran away! WORST. HERO. EVER!
3. i'm also reading the sailor moon manga. this i expect to be different. its much more fast paced a lot more detail about the moon kingdom war and the characters before the fall, and jadeite, nephite, ziosite and kunzite die a lot faster. Some how its actually about 10 times perkier than the American version. and the American version was damn perky.
# the 4th. What the hell is with anime and theme/intro songs that have no connection to the anime? Sailor moons is apparently about being shy and untruthful and near the end it talks about being able to tell the truth in the moonlight..... ok..... i just sing the 'Fighting evil by moon light' version during cause its the same tune.
5. Damn you sailor moon mytholgy!!! now im writing again because you made that little thing my brain click about how wouldn't it be awesome if their was a representative of the sun who wasn't out to kill you and then there was brain storming and now im writing something that has witches who worship the sun the moon and the earth.
Sailor Moon I blame you.

I'm more of a shounen type of gal apparently...at least that's what I tell my hubby. 
Funniest part that I see in Shoujo manga? One sip of wine (NEVER beer or liquor, lord forbid!), and you're instantly drunk. And it's only the girls. The guys would then magically catch them on time when they conveniently pass out after said sip. That drives me bonkers. There's some deviations involving alcohol that don't end that way, but it's few and far between.
