    I has a new shiny!

    I've been getting more into steampunk cosplay lately. It's a lot of fun, largely because you don't have to explain any pop culture references to people, you don't have to adopt a persona if you don't want to: it's all about the aesthetic. Plus, it's GORGEOUS. I love it.

    I'm slowly building up my costume collection, and this is the latest addition. I cannot WAIT to build a whole costume around it. (The goggles I already owned, but I love them with the flight helmet!)

      Very nice! Steampunk is one of those things I'm contemplating getting into at some point.
      Long days, short nights, a bottle of NOS makes it all right.

        Oh Steampunk! I want! ^_^ I went to the Maryland Ren Faire last week in costume and I've decided I want a Ren Faire costume and a steampunk costume.

          I keep meaning to put some steampunk stuff together too. I love the cross piece thing on the lens!
