My long-standing background has been this edited picture of galaxies, part of the Hubble deep field with the Antennae galaxies in the foreground.

Some great themes
. I get bored of mine easily, so I change it often. Found the one in the op on my latest search for something. Was just looking for something with a full moon and water, but seen that one and just had to use it.

my desktop is a bash of a set of blueprints for a house I like chopped and made handicapped accessible.
I needed to put in an elevator so I could go to all the floors [including a full basement] and I sort of decided to put in zero clearence fireplaces in both bedrooms also. No sense wasting a good chimney!
