Police raided Kermit the Frog's house yesterday. They went in with a warrant to search for drugs, but they found none.

What they did find was a huge swathe of obscene pictures of Miss Piggy - all of them were out of focus, or blurred from trembling, or the lighting was bad.

The police said it was the worst frogspawn they'd ever seen.

I sort of understand the pun of "frogspawn" for "frog's porn", but I'm guessing that "frogspawn" is a British expression. For those of us on the other side of the pond, what does it mean?

When I saw the title "Newsflash" I thought of this Spitting Image sketch.

Thanks to it I may or may not be referring to persons dying as persons farting.

Ah, the literal meaning. I thought it was also used as a slang term in Britain.

Ever noticed that if a co-worker was "just f**king the dog" it means they were doing nothing, but if they "screwed the pooch" they definitely did something (but not what they should have done)?
