I just tasted a 1970 Chateau Lafon-Rochet (4eme Cru Bordeaux). It had been kept perfectly, in its original case, and has perfect provenance (it was bought by my Boss' father).
Remarkable wine. Leather and chocolate on the nose, with a hint of cherry/strawberry, which carried through to the palate. The finish held on fairly strongly for such an old wine, and most of the flavours didn't start to break down for nearly 90 minutes. Boss opened one, sold two, and has the remaining 9 still in the cellar. I'm considering asking if I can buy one for one of the random family birthdays coming up.
