Default I should shoot myself...

... for using the joke I did.

So my internet was doing funny things a few days ago. Modem kept losing its connection. So I called my cable company and asked about it and they said they couldn't see anything wrong. Long story short I ended up taking the modem in to be exchanged.

The lady at the customer service desk of course had to scan barcodes on the new and old modem in order to swap them. The new one wouldn't scan... so we all know the joke I used, I mean it was right there!

She gave me a huge cheesy grin(obviously not serious) and said in the most sarcastic tone, "But you're not paying for anything" to wit I replied, "Damn" and hung my head in shame. I did apologize for the lame joke and said "I was hoping it would be funnier here." She smiled again and said, "Oh it isn't."

All in all it was a great experience and I was glad she rolled with it.
