I'm looking at the radar and if she hasn't already she's very close to making landfall on the FL panhandle near Crawfordville.

I know Dallas got hit with a nasty wind/hail storm and missed that deployment thanks to my screwed up tendons.

Enjoy

My little sis lives on the East coast of Florida and her normal posts on FB about beaches, sand and dipping her toes in the water have suddenly turned to nasty posts about all the rain. She's lived there almost 2 years now and this is the first time they are dealing with alot of rain from tropical storms/hurricanes.

It's been so hot and dry here people's gardens have just stopped growing.

Your choices are:
Blown away and drowned - Hurricane
Blown away - Tornado
Drown - Flooding
Freeze to death - Ice & snow
Die of thirst - Desert
Burn to death - Brush/Forrest fire
Crushed - Earthquake

So which area of the country do you want to live?
My area has had all of the above. We get hurricanes just like the rest of the east coast, but it seems North Carolina gets the most of the storm. We had a tornado in one of the 7 cities of Hampton Roads. Flooding happens all the time when it sprinkles in lots of the area. While it doesn't snow that much, it can be "bad" when it does. While not a desert, it still does get relativity hot. We had fires in the forests. And last but not least, we finally had a earthquake that we could mostly all feel.
