Like most (all?) of you, I come from a culture where we thank people for opening doors.
But that brings up an interesting question.
At my workplace, doors are close to one another. How often should you thank the same person for opening a door for you if it's within the "same" interaction?
For instance, if someone opens a door for me (or holds a door open), and I thank them, and then 20 or 30 feet later there's another door, and they open THAT door for me, too, should I thank them again?
How's that work, in your opinion?
