You have me craving Giovannis now. Pizza Hut and Dominoes is kinda bland (even the 'new' Dominoes). Of course Giovanni's is super greasy though, so that is bad for me. . Mmmm Giovannis *drools*

Shush all of you! The only pizza places we have here are Scooters, Debonairs and some gourmet fancy shmancy places.

I think my favorite is Wicks, although I'm not sure if it's just a local chain or not. But when it comes to getting pizza fast, Papa John's is the closest to me. Hubs and I do pick-up orders there from time to time. Chicken alfredo pizza FTW.

And Cheesecake Factory actually does a pretty good tomato basil pizza. Dangit, I'm hungry now. I need to stay out of food threads, lol.

I can't get enough of the Salsa Verde pizza.

We don't use jalapenos. Usually Big Jim, NeMex 6-4....we've got all kinds of varieties to choose from.

Speaking of which, the chile harvest is starting to come in, I need to go get some.

This reminds me of this awesome pizza place that used to be a few miles away. It was called Summit Pie Company, was a mom and pop place.

Unfortunately, the previous owner owed a few years taxes on the business and neglected to inform the new owners about it until the IRS came down on them. Ah, such delicious pizza... Never to be tasted again. The owner took the best parts of the recipes from Pizza Hut, Blackjack, and another place, and combined them into an orgasm for the taste buds. Best pizza I've ever had in Colorado.

Well, the best pizza place around here is a place called Mellow Mushroom. But its thirty miles away. Best pizza there is the Philosopher. It has steak, portobello mushrooms, artichoke hearts, Kalamata olives, provolone, feta, and mozzarella cheeses on an oil and garlic base. http://www.mellowmushroom.com The closest is either Fox's, Domihoes, Pizza Hut, or Pizza Inn

I am a fan of Papa John's myself. One thing I can not figure out, though, is why a place that makes good pizza can't figure out how to make good wings. I usually eat wings at specialty places around here but occasionally I want wings with my pizza delivered. I have to choose whether I want good wings and crappy pizza or crappy wings and good pizza. Someone has to figure this thing out.

I usually prefer my orgasms elsewhere, but hey. All in the name of good food I guess.

I think every area should have a specialty mom and pop type place that just has awesome pizza... Mmmmm.

I must say though..Dominos has stepped up their game with the new sauce and the garlic herb crust.. longer Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

i use to order from dominos cos ... yeah it's good to order online when you've been drinking.
then i found out there's a little mom & pop place right down the road. and they're more generous about toppings.

seriously. last time, i really wanted a lot of mushrooms & onions so i ordered double of each.
... i couldn't see the cheese through the toppings! now that's a generous amount of topping!

My favorite pizza is from one of two places. Upper Crust in Santa Fe, an hour away. And Lorenzo's in Las Cruces, 3 hours away. So I very rarely have them.

Usually when I want pizza, I just make my own. I've got a really good recipe for pizza dough that beats just about anywhere else.

Best Mom & Pop pizza here (read: best pizza, period) is Tower of Pizza. One of those tiny little places that you don't even know it's there until you've passed it and see the big red canopy out of the corner of your eye. One of those places that fits maybe 8 four-tops, max.
