Racist jerk at the hobby shop

    AMT has had some real dogs over the years. Mainly, because several of their kits have been around since the Earth cooled, and the molds are wearing out. Some of their newer kits, are quite good--the '57 Chrysler 300C, '58 Edsel Pacer, '58 Plymouth, etc. because those were all-new items. That's not to say that some of the older items can't be made presentable, but it takes work. Here are a couple of mine--a pair of 1/12 scale 1937 Cords, and a 1/25 American-LaFrance fire truck chassis. Other items on the workbench, are this lovely trio of 1/24 Monogram/Revell MG TCs, and the 998cc four-cylinder out of Revell's new 1/25 scale Mini kit.
