It's a surprise....wedding?

Turns out they were already planning on getting married this week, but they were going to do just a simple courthouse ceremony. The groom wanted something more special for his bride, though, so he secretly booked the resort for a beach-side ceremony.

I'm glad it turned out okay.

Though again, if it had been me, I'd have been pissed. Personally I would prefer no ceremony at all, and having someone decide to spring something like that would not be okay. But everyone's different I suppose.

It would depend- if, for example, the courthouse wedding was for cost reasons, then I'd be seriously angry if I found out that whoever I was marrying had sprung on me a change like that-if parents had decided to help out, for example, there is no need to make it a surprise.
