But doesn't have the dork factor.

Says she who is considering getting an Starfleet Badge tattoo.
There is a low dork quotient at work that differs from here. ;p

Couldn't be lower than at my workplace. Half my CWs never even heard of Monty Python.

          Yay, I win!

          ...quite the hollow victory, though.

I have to know...did the $900 order for shirts actually go through? Was it COD or credit card? How much was postage?
I just find it hard to believe that an order like that was legit!

It was COD. So off it went....god knows to where or what fate.

GK, once again, I awaited all day to get home so that I may read your post. You didn't disappoint.

Sundays are my new favorite days.

Hehe, Sunday is the only day I'm guaranteed to actually venture into the Sucky Customers forum. Most of my time here is spent in Off Topic. Sundays I come for GK's post and usually get sucked into reading a bunch more.

                      ...Arrrg...

Me: “Ok, and your postal code please?”
                      SC: “…um…..box 9.”
Me: “Ok, but what is your postal code please?”
                      SC: “uhhh….box..9?”
Me: “….no, what is your postal code please?”
                      SC: “Uh….Alberta?”
Me: “….no. I need your postal code.”
                      SC: “…..box….9?”
I'm guessing that if you looked up the northernmost postal code for Alberta, you'd be covered here...

And at the guy with the corpse... [insert appropriate moral outrage here]

...then again, we have no idea what his relationship with the guy was like. I know I've had housemates who, had I found them lying dead in the house, probably would have aroused feelings of annoyance at best. I mean, do you have any idea how hard it is to clean up after a corpse?*

*I hasten to clarify that I watch A LOT of CSI, this does not come from personal experience. *shifty eyes*

Is is possible the corpse guy was stoned/mentally inept/otherwise NOT all there??

I just don't see how any sane person could act how he did.

Depending on which Vancouver neighbourhood or suburb, this is not only possible but downright probable. Actually, that would apply to the entire greater Vancouver area, now that I think of it. (Scary, scary place; all the drivers appear to be drunk and/or on copious doses of meth, and I include Transit drivers in that. I don't make eye contact with anyone if I can help it. I just get through as fast as I can and GTFO.)

(Victoria born and raised, here. Hence the Vancouverphobia).
