Actually, you spell "wala" "viola" and pronounce "viola" "wala", not vi O la.
Violas are flowers. And the actual correct pronunciation of "viola" (wala) is "vwa la".
So there.
(I win).
(And "vwa la" is a different mouth movement that's more fun to say, try it, your lips can't help but feel foreign and sexy when you say "vwa la!")...how do used tampons attract thieves? ---Sleepwalker

A viola is a stringed instrument, not a flower.
The correct spelling in French, is "voila" (meaning, "look there" or more casually, "there it is!").
