I don't at the moment, but I have some familiarity with it from my last place of work. That said though, I'm in Australia, so the processes might be different to the US. Feel free to fire away!

I've got a son that starts HS next year. But we home school.

Can technical certifications help? I was thinking of getting the books that would allow him to get Java certified, but if it's not going to help, I'm not sure I want to do the certification part. I could just have him learn a few different programming languages, and do some projects in them instead.
