Default Alabama/Georgia Weather Check-In

I'm a little concerned about our southern friends here. There was a tornado this weekend, an F3, and 23 people died. I don't know if this link will work, but https://www.accuweather.com/en/weath...rnoon/70007598

First Eric's town and now this. Meanwhile, up here we're buried in snow. More this weekend, which means more storms for the south. ugh

We are in Western Alabama, it stormed a bit but no big deal. It was Southeastern Alabama that really took the hit, Lee County I think. 23 dead including children. Everyone around here is collecting emergency supplies to send.

Wow. I'm now seeing that the tornado was an EF4.

Absolutely horrible. I have both a fascination with, and fear of, tornadoes.

My prayers with those in Alabama affected by this storm.

I was seeing people on another chat log off to move to a safe place while the storms went over. So scary! And then today they came back on to say they were okay. It's off-topic, but it's pretty cool that I talk to people from all over the world.
