There is nothing like being doubled over in pain in a crowded ER to have one of your clients come over and talk to you about their problems as if you're on the clock or even give a crap about their problems atm.
Not only did she bother me in the waiting room, she kept peering in the room I was in as well. I got a hold of the nursing supervisor and said to keep that woman put up and the hell away from me. She was pretty compassionate after she understood why.
How I managed to not use any profanity or told her to gtfo was just a testimate to my professionalism. However, lesson learned: If you work in social services it may be worth a trip to a hospital in another town.
