As for returning things almost empty. My Mom once worked at Target...after she retired from the PO even... Well she helped this guy pick out the perfect blinds. Thing is he had two windows so she searched the store and the returns desk had just gotten one in from a return that turned out to be the wrong size. Now these were their most expensive blinds and the guy was also buying quite a bit more stuff to lighten up his new place.
A half hour later he storms in with the box that had the return sticker still attached saying it could go back to the floor. Turns out the lady who returned it before had vary carefully cut the cellophane, removed the new blinds and put in her old rotten sauce and other fluid splashed blinds in. She then carefully resealed the box to get all her money back. Yea he was pissed...very very pissed. At least he didn't blame Mom.
