Funny story about that...
The woman my mom works for got her Citibank CC stolen. It was a photo card.
She's a fiftysomething redheaded Caucasian woman. The thieves were two teenage black boys. I guess they were able to rack up over $15K in charges at a mall before one clerk thought to look at the photo.
The AmEx Blue cards are a mess. I don't know what they did to the signature panel; it seems that they just put a light opaque coating directly on the plastic. Even a fine-tip permanent marker won't stay (my mom has one and has to re-sign it about once a week or so).
