Related to the issues we've seen, we've determined we need to get more RAM put into the server. That's going to take about 20 minutes of downtime. We're scheduling it for Sunday, Feb 6, at 1:30am EST, and it should be over by 2am. That translates to the following times around the world:
Once we've done this upgrade, we should see noticeable improvements in the way the site performs. We apologize for the inconvenience. One of the dangers of splitting servers the way we have is underpowering one of them, and that's what happened here. At least fixing it is easy.
