So while our glorious *coughing fit* overlords and our poor managers were away, our manager informed me of something hilarious, and we just got physical proof of it. Our store had, out of all the GameStore's in the US, the highest customer approval rating during Destiny's launch. This cemented our place in top ten percent of GameStore's customer approval overall.
So we now have a small award in the backroom saying that we're ultra high on the happy customer's list. Honestly that means more to me than the 'highest sold' etc list, though not as much as if my boss had won the psudo-furry sumo wrestling contest.
Not making that last bit up by the way. Apparently this year in addition to Disney Land there was a sumo contest, but it was in inflatable animal costumes, thus further cementing my theory that corporate lives in another world than I do.
