So, I work for Glitter Hell for all things crafty and glittery. ( ESPECIALLY this time of year.)
As an incentive for selling overpriced crappy merchandise to our customers through our fairly new cso service we get our names put into a drawing when we get a sale, which has been in the past a $25 gift certificate.
This month, however, is different. Instead of a gift certificate the "lucky" winner will get a bicycle that the manager found in front of our store ( it had been there for a few days ) and then took and stashed said bike upstairs in the receiving/storage area where it has been for a few months instead of being turned over to our local police department, which by law is MANDATORY.
So, whoever may win said bike could end up with something that has not only been legally considered to be stolen by our manager, if said bike HAS been reported stolen with the police department it could end up with said winner, if discovered by rightful owner, in jail for possession of stolen merchandise.
I am SO sorely tempted to turn in this idiot to Corporate as well as our local PD for not only possession of stolen merchandise, but for possibly causing one of our innocent employees to possibly end up with a record for possession/receiving stolen merchandise....
