I think the firing of both them was probably fair, and it does send a message: keep your personal disputes private.

You would think that folks would get the message but sadly, not always.

OTOH, we do have a new Deli Manager and she seems fairly nice (so far.)

And we have a new part time person in Produce, so things are moving along.

So far we've not had any further issues with that. But that was probably the stupidest reason for a store manager to have to be called into the store while he's on vacation (not the fight mind you, but the reason for the fight.)

But after it was over with, even Grasshopper had a good laugh over that one.
