i've been debating which address to use. i'll be moving sometime in november; do i use my current address and hope everything forwards properly to wherever i end up or do i just use my parents address and pick up the mail once a week. (guess i should mention that possibility to them...)

The card list is automatic.
Pedersen has it set to make the announcement at a certain date, usually the first week of September.

You should use the address where you are sure that mail will reach you during the card sending season.

Some people start very early, so you might be best to use your current one and count on it being forwarded.
If you use your new address, and the early birds send your cards out before the move, you may not get them.
