Half pound of sausage, half pound of bacon, half pound of cheese, a 6 egg omelet, and hash browns, all sandwiched between 2 seven inch, gravy-filled biscuits.

Oh, holy crap. Holy crap, man, bacon lasagna. WILL BE TRYING THAT.

I made a bacon-wrapped pork roll last night.

Take a pork roll and brine it for about an hour and a half to two hours (about eight cups of water to about half to three-quarters of a cup of coarse salt and garlic powder). Take it out of the brine and throw some black pepper (no more salt), garlic, and either rosemary sprigs or ginger (whatever ya got).

Build a suit of bacon armor for pork roll. I kid you not, wallpaper the sucker with bacon.

Seal completely in aluminum foil, put in a pan, and bake at four hundred degrees for about two hours or until internal temp is about 180 (I have a convection oven, so you may want to adjust if you don't have one. ). If you want to brown it a bit, pull it out, open up the foil a bit, and stick it back in until it gets toasty on top. Just be careful you don't dry it out.
