I've often heard that copycat things like that don't work. I mean, I understand MySpace is still around, but it's not nearly as popular as it used to be. There's also Google+, Instagram, FaceBook, PInterest, Flickr, etc...
All social Media sites, all with slightly different purposes (though I fail to see much of a distinction between Instagram and PInterest).
So would another social media site work?
As of 2015, and according to this site: http://wersm.com/how-much-are-social...-really-worth/
The top five social media sites are worth about a gazillion dollars each. Which I would probably need if I ever want to live in one of these houses:
https://www.archivaldesigns.com/home...one-house-plan
https://www.archivaldesigns.com/home...ral-house-plan
https://www.archivaldesigns.com/home...ate-house-plan
https://www.archivaldesigns.com/home...ion-house-plan
So I guess the real answer is twofold. I suppose "if it's done right", and "successfully coerce people to use it" are big factors. And considering each one has about a zillion users, that's a tall order (though I'm sure there's crossover, people who have accounts across platforms).
So would yet another social media site work? And what would you, personally, like to see in a social media site?
