  • The vending machine beat me and stole my money!

    What in the hell?!

    Just to make it clear, yes this is a college and we are NOT SECURITY. WE ARE POLICE. NOR ARE WE IN CHARGE OF VENDING MACHINES!

    "************* police department?"
    "Oh, hi. Is this security?"
    "No. This is the police department, can I help you?"
    "Oh. Well, the vending machine ate my dollar and I am REALLY THIRSTY OMG!"
    "...*headesk*...Then you need to go down to the cafeteria and tell them that. We don't deal with Vending Machines..."
    "OMG BUT SOMEONE TOLD ME THAT SECURITY DEALT WITH IT OMG!"
    "Go to the cafeteria... *click*"

        But did it make a "Yo' momma's so fat.." joke also?

        Because if not, you cannot press charges.

        Unless of course it happened to take place during the full moon on the 2nd Tuesday of September on a leap year while he was wearing purple pants.. then all bets are off!

          I lost a dollar in a vending machine once. Called the number on it and they sent me a money order for $1. (And money orders cost $2, no matter how much they're for)

              Amscot = Free.
              Publix = 48 cents

                    When i worked at Winn Dixie, we did Western Union Money orders, they were 79 cents.
                    The United States Post Office charges 40 cents for theirs i believe. or did at one time.

                        Where I work, I am the person you call about vending problems. Apparently, some people find it hard to believe that a soda company does not also take care of the snack machines. So, no, the same service person cannot deal with both machines. If you have a problem with the snack machine, too, then I have to contact a different company.
                        I'm sorry, the person to whom you were speaking has been replaced by a recording. Please leave your message at the sound of the beep.
