I got to try one of these and got hooked on it for 1/2 an hour, in which time I was better at playing it than any instrument I've ever tried. It had the notes on paper under the strings and the books have the notes or numbers that you play by so you don't actually have to know how to read music. I'm interested in getting one now, but am afraid I'll lose my enthusiasm while trying to learn it. Anyone else ever try this instrument, or know how to play one? There's several makers of them; I'd be looking for a small beginners, nothing artsy-hand crafted, something in a tenor maybe.
