  • Waiting out the surgery

They just took my daughter (41) in.

She was incapacitated by pain at work last night and was taken to the hospital.

Imaging test show growths on both ovaries, blood tests don't show any markers of malignancy, but we won't know until they biopsy during the operation.

Thanks. She may be 41, but for me she's also still the tiny blonde hanging onto my fingers, learning to walk... three different times (rib-to-toes cast and then surgery + cast for hip dysplsia).

Good news! The resident came into the room where we were waiting (me, her mom, her sister & my sister) almost floating.

3 fibroids (baseball, baseball, softball) that had grown through the uterine wall, twisted and started to bleed. Complete hysterectomy, retained ovaries.

            Six weeks healing ahead.

Thank Goodness those fibroids weren't malignant!

Hope your daughter is back on her feet soon . . .
