I never really took any interest in eve online myself, but things like this definitely cause me to do a double-take. Apparently an unconfirmed 75 titans were destroyed in the massive battle over mining rights (the previous 'record' was 12 titans)
(Layman information: A titan class warship apparently has a converted RL value of between USD$3000 and USD$5000, based on how many ISK a PLEX (player license extension - basically a 30 day game subscription) sells for)
