I had ordered several pairs of shoes online from a large, discount shoe store. During some sort of promo where you got x off if you ordered one, a little more for 2 pairs, and a little more still for 3.
I ordered three, but one came with a teeny spot on it, which I couldn't get out. So I took them to the store to return or exchange, and as they didn't have them in stock, they offered to order and send to my house. Great!
But, since the promo was no longer in effect, the cashier wasn't sure how to apply the same price, since it was online. So in the end, I was patient, and got rewarded by the manaqger with a 20% discount, slightly more than I had initially
