The Coat of Many Feathers: A Nursery Rhyme

MoonCat had a coat of down
And it was thick and warm;
And everywhere that MoonCat went,
She need not fear a storm.

She took the coat out to be cleaned
For winter's on its way;
So glad she was to have this coat
To keep the winds at bay.

The coat came back, now MoonCat's sad
The coat is thin and flat;
Her lovely coat that once was thick
Can't keep her warm like that!
