    When I make lasagna, I totally cheat. Use the regular noodles that you are supposed to cook - but use them UNcooked. Layer the lasagna fixings as usual. Last step is to carefully pour 1/4 cup water down the side of the pan. Bake as directed. The extra bit of water is just enough to nicely steam the noodles!

        Hmm, I lost track of this thread.

        Now I want lasagna!

        The husband of a friend of mine is a great cook, and he used to make lasagna with not just the ground beef, but also sausage meat (crumbled) - which was pork I assume. Plus the sauce, his own spicing, cheese.....yummmmmm

        Yes the no-cook noodles can work, too. I've never tried doing it the way PenquinzRule describes it but hey, whatever works.

        Lasagna is one of the few things I will eat as leftovers...assuming there are any.
        When you start at zero, everything's progress.
