Tonight our theatre group was putting on Murder on the Nile and I was flogging programmes at the front door.

I'm not sure whether to whack them or admire the chutzpah.

Girl comes in and asks for a programme.I give it to her whilst her friend rustles around in purse for change.She eventually finds the money and gets ready to hand it over at which point girl A says 'I've read it now,I don't need it any more' and hands it back....

I'm guessing she didn't want to keep it, and didn't see any point in hanging onto it.
