This actually happened to one of the store staff yesterday.
I'd finished my shift and was doing some shopping, when I saw one of the male employees come in from where he'd been collecting carts outside ((NB it has been very hot these past couple of weeks, and yesterday was no exception)
"I've just had something ever so nice happen to me" he said. "A young lad came up and gave me an ice lolly and said "This is from my mum, she says it's so hot today that you could probably do with one of these."
He thought that was really sweet and so did I.
