  • Miss Teen South Carolina

Did anyone see this? I heard just about every radio station play this clip.
    This is just sad.

Miss Teen South Carolina talks about
Geography and education and... well, just watch the clip!

    Very painful

Age and wisdom don't necessarily go together. Some people just become stupid with more authority.

How did that emcee manage to keep a straight face after that girl's garbled babbling?! Amazing. I would've been LMAO, live television or no!

I felt really bad for her, how embarressing!

Its almost as bad as the canadian girl who forgot the american national anthem and then fell over on the ice...

        at least that was funny!

What a dimbo! Instead of reading "South Carolina," her sash should read "Duh....."

A good answer to the girl's question would be "Because we're too busy looking up to people like Miss South Carolina, with good looks but nothing between the ears, to learn or care about the United States or other nations and their cultures, geographic features, and even where they are on a map"

Okay, I promise this is my last edit; I can never think of these things all at one time, but a quote from Billy Madison seems appropriate:
"What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

My SO found this clip last night. That scene in Billy Madison was the first thing I thought of after watching it.

I'm guessing she is one of those people.

She did lose, but she ended up in third place, according to CNN

I find it funny that the winner got a fairly easy question, and her answer won a lot of people over.

Q: Who do you like best, Linsdey Lohan, Paris Hilton, or Britney Spears?

A: Well.. none of those are my role models....

That won ALOT of praise right there.

Well, she got another chance to answer the question, and failed it a second time:
