    One of the things that seems to magically happen at our store, is that when someone comes in with a bad attitude at the amount of time it is taking, or a sense of entitlement that they should be first, for whatever reason, is that something will invariably go wrong, whether a computer error, or someone not being sure how to do a certain thing, and wanting to take time to get it exactly, perfectly right. Especially so if the person is being rude.

    It's not our fault you're late for work/appointment/picking your children up. You should have either planned better, or come in for (reason) when you had more time on your hands. Being rude won't endear you to the person behind the counter, and threatening to not come back/file a (usually pointless) complaint because you're in a bad mood will make you look rather silly. Especially if the person serving/helping is being as polite and helpful as they can be.

    Sure, we may have a sense of sticktoitivness and a slight edge building underneath the calm we are showing, but don't try to push us to cracking point with more rudeness or slightly (or overtly) threatening behaviour.
    You won't like what happens. We will only take so much before we turn nasty, in a way that is completely justified. If threatened, or showered with constant rudeness or abuse, we will, most likely, ask or tell you to leave the premises.

    But that's only the beginning, if you happen to continue. Eventually, we will either crack, and insist you leave the store IMMEDIATELY, or we will take harder action. Harder action being the possibility of physically removing you ourselves, or involving the police in a flash.

    But, if at any time, you make a threatening form of physical contact, at that moment, all politeness would be dropped, and we would be justified in acting to defend ourselves, enough that you would think twice about doing so again, or would be unable to repeat such action for such an amount of time that you would be removed by someone in a position of authority to do so. These people normally wear blue, and carry badges and guns. They also deal with people, and situations, much worse then what you cause.
    3 Basic rules for ordering food.
    - Order from the menu.
    - If you order something that will take some time to cook, then be prepared to wait.
    - Don't talk about Fight Club.

    This sort of thing should be put where customers can see it. Here it's kinda like preaching to the choir. I'm pretty sure everyones on board and on the same page.
