  • The Empty Can

Two kids in their late teens come in- one is carying a soda can. I could tell it was empty by the way he was carrying it. My immediate thought was, "I wonder which shelf he's going to leave it on?"

Sure enough a few minutes later they were walking out the door and there was no drink in the kid's hand.

Me: "Oh, hey... you forgot your drink. You might want it if you get thirsty."

Kid: "Oh... uh... yeah. I guess I forgot it."

He goes back into the game section, gets the can and then throws it away.
In the trash can and everything.

    My CSR was quite amused...

I seriously, seriously don't get people. How hard is it to throw something away? Our trash can is right by the door, and people STILL miss or ask me to throw it away for them!
