SC= stupid S**T

me: how can I help you?
SC: I need to return this calculator.
me: whats wrong with it?
SC: the screen won't clear.
me: let me take a look. *peels plastic covering off screen, the one with the painted on numbers*
me: seems to work fine.
SC: what was that thing you pulled off?
me: the plastic screen protector for shipping. it has numbers painted on to show what the screen looks like.
SC: ...

You know, I bet this isn't the first time this has happened either. If they would have read the manual, I'm sure one of the first few steps would be, "Peel the plastic thingy off the screen of the calculator" (of course, it would have sounded more technical than that, but you get the clue!)

How old did this person look? College? High-School? Elementary? Adult?
