Trust me, I use that refuse service power.
This happened a few days ago, but I still can't really comprehand it.
Thankfully, all the crew is slightly less nice to the guy.
Semiregular customer came in. I'm not wearing my vest because I forgot it, which means I get to wear my apron. Without missing a beat he says its stupid looking. Not a big deal in itself... but then he proceeds to compare it to my eyes.
Now, not to many of you seen what I look like, but I do have bad looking eyes. One is bigger then the other. Noticeably so. I'm like the dude that died from Tall Tale heart. (Well, not that big...). I just kind of looked at him.
Me: "you going to say sorry? I didn't do anything for that man"
SC: "No"
Me: "No cigs for you then"
SC: *rolls his eyes, then stands there*
This happens for a few minutes, just us staring at each other. Guess who cracks first?
SC: "Your serious... your not going to sell me my cigs!!!"
Me: "Soon as you say sorry. Insult the apron. Not my eyes"
SC: <Insert swear words>
Me: *Stands*
He leaves, threatening to tell manager. Whatever. I told her. He said his side.
Strangely enough they matched.
So we're kinda being the bitchy store now, not really saying much to him except his price/bag. We'll most likely stop if he, you know, says he sorry.

That guy was a complete moronic jerk! How would he like it if you (or I) went to his place of business and insulted how he looks!?

Wow. What an asshole! He walks into your store, insults you, and expects you to sell him his crap like he never said anything? You can bet I'd do the same thing as you did! I don't sell anything to immature little pricks who think it's funny to insult random people. :|

I have to say, I'm loving that I'm seeing more threads on here about CSers refusing service to people to seriously need to be put in their place.
Had I been working with you I as well would have refused him service.
Let the asshole stand there slack-jawed until he realises he's getting shit all.
