    A Patient today.

    I had a patient with dementia today, and as I'm reasearching some community resources for her to use I come across a Memory Loss Support Group...I couldnt help but think "Will she remember to go?"


    I know...but i made myself LOL...

    Support group member1: Great to be here! Why are we here?

    Support group member2: I'm here for the cookies!

    Group leader: We have cookies?? No one told me we have cookies! Where are they?

    Support group member2: I don't remember.

        This has happened for real for me XD

        I was chatting to a lady waiting for a prescription and she mentioned her husband had dementia and was going to a meeting at the memory clinic. I had blood on my lip from biting it too hard after she said 'Gosh when was it...monday?..no no tuesday..yes definitly tuesday'

        Every fibre in my body was screaming 'if you can't remember he's stuffed!"
