So, back when I was working for a place that rented Mobility scooters to people, mostly old people, I was one day talking to one of the regulars when the conversation turned into this
Her "You should go round town with my granddaughter on your lunch break"
I'd seen her granddaughter before but, it had slipped my mind.
(Laughing) Me "Are you trying to set me up on a blind date with your daughter?"
Yeah, it was in that kinda tone that she was trying to hint at me getting to know her granddaughter a bit better.
Her "Here she is now"
Now those of a sharp mind might know what is coming.
In walks her granddaughter, Sun Glasses, Guide Stick and Guide dog.
Me *Groan, Facepalm*
Luckily we all laughed at it later and I did end up going round town with her granddaughter on my lunch breaks several times.
