Starting today, after nearly three years of working security, I finally, finally will be working a day shift. Previously I've worked graveyards and swing shifts. For the last three months I worked 3PM-10:30PM. Before that I worked 6PM-6AM. Before that was another swing shift, 3PM-11PM. But today I start working 7AM-3PM. This is now going to be my permanent shift. I don't know what I'm going to do. I'm actually going to have free time when my friends are actually awake and able to hang out. I can actually be a social human being again. I hope I can adjust.

I guess... but why would you want to work day shift

Because I like the idea of working normal human hours instead of the crappy robot hours I've been working the past few years. Plus I'm looking forward to actually being able to hang out with my friends more than once a week.
