My super told me she had to see me at 4pm Fri. That is never good. I also hate when someone higher up than you tells you to meet them at a certain time, and they show up 20 min. late. So I can't get any work done. But the following is the meat of this thread. Someone complained about me:
I am registering a complaint on a staff member. Mrs. DMFan was very unprofessional when I asked her for help. Her tone was very harsh and made me uncomfortable. Please see she is at least talked to about her relation with the public.
Dr. Joe Joeson*
There are no other details. I have no idea who this person is.
1) That was very vague. What did I do that was rude? My tone was harsh? Could he not got into detail, like "I asked her where I could find the sex books, and then I asked her if she read any and could suggest some?" No, that wasn't his question but if someone asked a question like that and was leering at me, I will be harsh. If someone says, "Where are the 300's?" and I point, "Right behind you sir," He might feel embarrassed. Then he would wonder why I didn't apologize for hiding the 300's. Then he would find my tone harsh since I didn't make him feel better. Or, most likely, I was helping someone and he just butts in with a question and I tell him "I'll be with you in a moment," and because I didn't help him right that minute he thought my tone of voice was harsh.
2) I call BS on him being a doctor. His email address is joejoeson@yahoo.com. I've mentioned before about another person claiming to be a doctor, and his email address was joebloww2000@hotmail.com. And I doubt any doctor would have an email address like that, since a doctor would be affiliated with an institution, like a hospital or college. And some people have mentioned that doctors might not be asso. with an institution. But I call bs. I doubt the guy has a h.s. diploma, not even a doctorate. Then again, I don't recall this guy. He submitted his complaint on Dec. 8, but all I know is he could have had an "incident" with me a month ago and until recently decided to complain.
3) He didnt' say if it was in person or by phone. Not that it makes much diff., though I am a bit harsh on our regular callers who just call us to have something to do.
Anyway, it would help to have details.
To be honest, he isn't sucky if he had a legitimate complaint, but the suck is there are no details. And maybe he is exaggerating my "harshness."
*not his real name.
