So the old one finally died a death and stopped responding to the remote we used to switch it on, switch it to Wii and Xbox360 mode etc. It still switches on and changes channel, but we thought it was time for a new one.
So we went to Cash Converters, which is kinda a pawn shop/ second hand goods shop. We occasionally call it Crack Converters, as you can guarantee any goods stolen by drug addicts will probably end up there... which is relatively pointless as it's the first place police check.
Anyway, they had a 32 inch, 720 HD LCD tv for £250. So not top of the range, but much better then we currently have. Jos is setting it up; with our consoles etc, it is currently sitting in the corner of the room like a great hulking beast of beauty.
So, yay for new TV!
