May, that's the worst news I've heard all day. Unless they replace Bob Barker with Bob Barker, circa 1982, the show is going to go straight into the crapper.

Haven't watched the show in years, but on Monday, while lying on my couch, sick as a dog, I woke up at one point, and that show was on the TV, and I felt too crappy to search for the remote. I saw about 5 minutes of it before drifting back to sleep.

There was a guy playing the "Higher/Lower" game, and Bob almost missed giving the guy his cue about 3 times, because he was pretty slow in responding.
I thought then, "Man, he's getting too old to do this thing."

Kind of blew me away when I read the announcement 2 days later.

The show will not be the same at all now, unless they get someone with an equally magnetic personality.
